Dugby Defect & Replacement Policy
At Dugby, every glove is handmade by skilled craftsmen using premium materials and traditional construction techniques. Because of this process, no two gloves are exactly the same, and natural variation is part of what makes each glove unique.
Before any glove reaches a customer, it is hand-inspected by our Quality Assurance team. Each glove is reviewed, approved, and packaged by our team to ensure it meets Dugby standards.
No Refunds Policy
Dugby does not offer refunds on custom gloves. All sales are final.
Dugby gloves are made to order and built through a hands-on, manual process. Once a glove enters production or has been delivered, it cannot be refunded or returned for a refund under any circumstance.
Placing an order means you acknowledge and accept this policy.
Our Quality Control Commitment
Every Dugby glove follows this process:
-
Handcrafted by experienced glove makers
-
Shipped to Dugby for inspection
-
Individually reviewed for defects, damage, and craftsmanship
-
Approved and packaged by our team
-
Shipped to the customer
This process exists to prevent defective gloves from ever reaching customers.
Defects Identified Before Customer Shipment
If a glove arrives to Dugby with a defect discovered during inspection, we will offer one of the following options, at our discretion and in coordination with the customer:
-
Remake the glove at no additional cost, or
-
Offer the glove at a discounted price if the customer chooses to accept it despite the defect
A defect is defined as a material flaw, construction issue, or damage that falls outside Dugby’s quality standards.
Damage During Shipping to the Customer
If a glove is damaged during shipment from Dugby to the customer, and the damage is clearly caused by shipping, Dugby will:
-
Replace the glove with a newly made glove at no cost
The original glove must be returned to Dugby for review before a replacement is issued.
Shipping damage claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery, including clear photos of both the packaging and the glove.
What Is Not Considered a Defect
The following are not considered defects and are not eligible for replacement:
-
Natural leather grain variation or texture differences
-
Minor color variation between gloves
-
Hand-stitched inconsistencies inherent to handmade products
-
Break-in marks, creasing, or softening from use
-
Wear from normal play
-
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper care
-
Fit preference or personal feel expectations
These characteristics are normal and expected in handmade performance gloves.
Final Determination
All defect, remake, and replacement decisions are made by Dugby after inspection. We reserve the right to determine whether an issue qualifies for a remake, replacement, or discounted acceptance.
This policy exists to protect the craftsmanship, integrity, and long-term value of every Dugby glove.
